Nightcrawler Full Movie:“Nightcrawler” (2014) features a geeky early-20s video freak named Lou Bloom (excellently played by Jake Gyllenhaal) who targets violent crimes in upscale neighborhoods and then sells his films to a twice-Lou’s-age News Director (Nina) played nicely by Rene Russo.

It’s an intriguing movie dealing with an increasingly egocentric Lou, who calls himself “President of Video Production News” as he pressures Nina to agree to a professional and physical relationship with him. But hey, Nina needs her job, nearing the end of her current 2-year contract and knowing great videos from Lou will keep her employed and doing the kind of graphic news stories she truly wants to do. I enjoyed the flick very much, mainly because of Jake's strangely believable character and his

 growing over-confidence as he becomes bolder and more successful at teuly violent crime scenes. Rid Ahmed does a good performance as Rick, Lou’s work partner, and brings a strong dose of believability as well to a nicely paced drama/crime movie well worth the time. Rotten Tomatoes gives “Nightcrawler” a 95%, super high and for good reasons. I give it 4.5 Stars. It’s a good film.
